Maps & Missions
4th Grade read the book The Journey of Oliver K. Woodman by Darcy Pattison and created a Google Map showing Oliver's travels. On World Read Aloud Day (March 9th), 4th Grade even skyped with the author of the book telling her about St. Martin's and asking her questions about her writing and her life.

Measurement
Do you have a hard time remembering how many cups are in a pint or how many quarts are in a gallon? 4th Grade created Gallon People in PowerPoint to help them remember!
4th Grade listened to a book about Wilson Bentley and then created a timeline of major events in his life. They then chose their favorite snowflake image from some online snow crystal images and digitally altered it. These images were added to a PowerPoint slide and each 4th grader wrote and recorded a Cinquain poem about snow or winter.
Each 4th Grader illustrated a Christmas Tongue Twister and then issued a challenge to others to say their Tongue Twister. Are you up to the challenge?
Who Am I?
4th Grade drew a self-portrait and then researched facts about their name and birth date. Do you know who is who?
International Dot Day 2010
In celebration of International Dot Day on September 15th-ish, 4th Grade listened to The Dot by Peter Reynolds. They then drew their own dot (or dots) usingMS Paint. This was the first project of the school year and for some students it was their first time ever using Paint. We hope that you enjoy our Dot Day Gallery!
